Is your profile practically invisible?

Even if you have invested effort into crafting an impressive LinkedIn profile that spotlights your skills and experience.

Who is to blame?

You — if you’re not intentionally utilizing relevant keywords.

On LinkedIn, keywords are everything.

They’re how recruiters, customers, and connections find professionals like you amidst the sea of profiles.

Implementing a smart keyword strategy is the difference between your expertise languishing in obscurity versus continuously getting discovered.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗲𝘆𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:

1/ In your Headline, highlight your most valuable skills, offerings, and expertise areas.

“Social Media Specialist | Content Marketing | Personal Branding | LinkedIn Strategist”

2/ Identify longtail keyword phrases your ideal audiences search to weave into your Summary.

Examples: “digital marketing for Saas startups”, “personal finance coach for entrepreneurs”

3/ Update your Job Experience descriptions to naturally incorporate niche keywords and phrases.

“Skilled at running full-funnel Facebook ad campaigns for ecommerce fashion retailers.”

4/ Make your Skills and Endorsements sections a treasure trove of relevant industry terms.

“Funnel Optimization, Growth Hacking, Email Marketing Automation, CRO”

5/ Incorporate location-based keywords if targeting a specific geographic area.

“Los Angeles Advertising Agency Specializing in High-Converting Landing Pages”

6/ Even your cover images and media uploads offer keyword inventory to fuel discovery.

Descriptively naming videos like “8-Figure_Facebook_Ads_Masterclass” can increase views.

By weaving an intentional keyword thread through your profile, you’ll continually show up in search results for your areas of expertise.

That translates into dramatically increased visibility and opportunities!

But don’t go overboard! Prioritize quality over quantity when integrating keywords.

You still need to create a natural, compelling narrative for humans first.

Remember, humans, first.
