Why freelance work just might work for you!

When I was pursuing my MBA, I had zero inkling that freelancing could be more lucrative than a corporate 9–5 job!

I was scared when I plunged into this new way of making money, but I don’t want you to be.

1. You’re in control of your own destiny

You don’t have to worry about your boss making decisions that don’t jive with your values.

You can choose the projects you want to work on, the clients you want to work with, and the hours you want to work.

Being in control of your destiny is incredibly empowering and can help you reach heights you never thought possible.

2. You can set your own working hours

You become your own boss, enabling you to work when you are most productive.

This also means you can plan your day around other responsibilities, such as family commitments.

A perfect way to balance your life while really living it.

3. You can choose the projects you want to work on

You don’t have to spend your days working on projects you hate — or worse, projects you can’t stand.

This can be incredibly liberating.

When you’re a freelancer, you choose the projects that inspire and challenge you and make you feel excited and fulfilled.

4. You can work from anywhere

All you need is a laptop and an internet connection, and you can take your office on the road.

Whether you want to work from a beach in Thailand, a cafe in Paris, or your home in your pajamas, the world is your office.

You can spend more time with family and friends, explore new hobbies, and explore the world.

5. You can make more money than a 9–5 job

In the past, the 9–5 job was the most reliable way to make a living.

But with freelancing, you can make more money than with a traditional job.

You control how much you work, which projects you take on, and how much you charge.

You can scale up or down, depending on your needs and availability.

Freelancing is worth exploring to see if it’s the right fit for you.
